We believe a well-bred retriever should be versatile—equally at home as a beloved family companion, a hunting partner, a performance dog, or simply your best friend.

At Mulberry Retrievers, our dogs are family first. Our puppies are raised in our home, surrounded by our children, our dogs, and the everyday sights and sounds of family life. We thoughtfully plan a limited number of litters each year, with health, temperament, structure, and breed type at the heart of every breeding decision.

Our dogs are health tested according to the recommendations of their breed's parent club, including OFA evaluations and genetic testing. We also enjoy participating in conformation, Fast CAT, and other activities that allow us to enjoy our dogs and continue evaluating the qualities we hope to pass on.

Most importantly, we want to raise dogs that are wonderful to live with. Dogs that can head out for an adventure in the morning, curl up on the couch with their family that evening, and remain a cherished companion for years to come.
